The department was established in the year 1999.The main objective of the department is to compete the market demand along with enhancing the technical skills of the faculties with new technologies to cater the needs of students. The department has well equipped labs and qualified faculties. The major software available in the department are MATLAB, Proteus, Multisim, PCAD, Mentor Graphics. .The major equipments involves Spectrum Analyzer, DSO, Antenna kits, Microwave bench, Satellite communication kits.

A special training is given to the students for soft skills and aptitude in house and from outside agencies to enhance the placement activities.
